Area of Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on accounting tasks (include data entry, journal entries).
- Managing company’s accounts AR & AP.
- Reconciles bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
- Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling control accounts (adjusting entries for prepaid account, preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals).
- Checking and prepare staff monthly expenses claim.
- Filing of account documents.
- Assisting with others accounting tasks as assigned by superior.
- Responsible for the closing of monthly management account in accordance and ensure proper and timely closing.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure completeness, accuracy, identifying and solving the discrepancy in order to deliver the final reports.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in accounting.
- Knowledge of basic of accounting & book-keeping procedures, accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining general ledgers.
- Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs, and email at a highly proficient level.
- Effective written communications skills.
- Min 3 years experience in Accounting.
Area of Responsibilities:
- Support Non-Pharma new product development framework including sourcing, prototype development, cost evaluation under subsidiary companies of Pharm-D Health Science Group.
- Keeping abreast with market information/ products, conducting market research and data analysis for modular nutrition to identify opportunities in modular nutrition supplements and niche product categories.
- Assist in troubleshooting & resolving product quality issues, technical challenges, formulation-related concerns in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Department on production planning, delivery coordination, and raw materials substitution to ensure smooth product development and manufacturing processes.
- Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by superiors which to carry out additional tasks, assignments, and project support as delegated by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree/ Professional Degree. Preferably Bachelor in Food Science & Nutrition/ Nutrition & Wellness/ Food Technology/ Pharmaceutical Science or any relevant academic qualification.
- Preferred 2 to 5 years working experience specialized in Nutraceutical/ Pharmaceutical industry.
- Fresh graduate with passion in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical is also encouraged to apply.
- Willing to travel outstation as and when required for exhibition and meetings (less frequent).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email at a highly proficient level.
- Effective written and communications skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (optional).
- Able to work independently and goal driven.
- Positive working attitudes, teamwork spirit, self-discipline and strong planning skills.
Area of Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily operations of the Accounts Department
- Plan, assign & review and subordinate’s works.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Liaise with superior to improve financial procedures.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal control policies and procedures.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow management.
- Collaborate with subordinates for dealing with external auditors during financial audits and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
- Collaborate and review Cosec documents.
- Assisting in budget preparation.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting or Finance, or any related fields.
- Preferred 5 years and above related working experience.
- Excellent leadership and ability in guiding team members.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach.
- Time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and communications skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Word & Excel and Accounting software.
